Waterhole Dinner
This is the perfect romantic add-on to a stay at Bushveld Bivouac, along with our popular bush picnics and romantic lookout deck dinner experiences, the waterhole setting provides a stage for the bush to shine.
This is a truly private spot. Enjoy the soft glow of fairy lights and lanterns as the sun sets, right next to a crackling fire with the starry night sky stretching above you. All around, you'll hear the gentle sounds of nature – maybe a distant owl, the rustle of leaves or a visit by one of the resident animals looking for a drink at the water – as you simply enjoy the moment and each other's company.
The afternoon's proceedings:
- One of our guides will collect you from your suite (a time to be determined closer to the date).
- A short drive to the waterhole site where your guide will walk you to your romantic set-up.
- A bottle of bubbly on ice, snacks & other drinks (to be determined) will be waiting for you.
- At a pre-arranged time, the driver will then deliver your choice of a delicious cheese and charcuterie platter or a freshly prepared pre-cooked dinner basket – choose between tasty chicken, tender beef, or a satisfying vegetarian option – and something sweet.
- At an arranged time, a driver will collect you and take you back to your suite.
